EMBRACE NEDERLAND-concert Koninklijk Concertgebouw Orkest in Leeuwarden 26 oktober 2018

 

Het is in september 2018 zestig jaar geleden dat één van de beste orkesten ter wereld een optreden verzorgde in stadsschouwburg 'De Harmonie' in Leeuwarden. In het culturele jaar 2018 zal het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest (RCO) weer spelen in de huidige Harmonie. Op vrijdag 26 oktober 2018 speelt het RCO onder leiding van chef-dirigent Daniele Gatti o.a. de schitterde muziek van Don Juan en symfonisch gedicht Tod und Verklärung van Richard Strauss.

Op verzoek van LF2018 ligt de organisatie van dit concert in handen van EMBRACE NEDERLAND, een stichting die middels klassieke muziek kwetsbare mensen - waaronder dementerenden - een beter leven geeft. Het RCO en EMBRACE bundelen hun krachten in dit speciale concert. Eén van de organisatoren is Bert Finke, uw gastheer in bed & breakfast Gouden Engel.

EMBRACE NEDERLAND-concert Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Leeuwarden October 26th, 2018

 

In September 2018 it is sixty years ago that one of the best orchestras in the world is performing in the city theater 'De Harmonie' in Leeuwarden. In the cultural year 2018 the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO) will play again in the current Hamonie. On Friday October 26, 2018 the RCO will perform under the direction of Chief Conductor Daniele Gatti among others the music of Don Juan and the symphonical poem Tod und Verklärung by Ricard Strauss.

At the request of LF2018 the organisation of this concert is performed by EMBRACE NEDERLAND, a foundation that tries by means of classical music to provide vulnerable people - including patients of dementia - of a better life. The RCO and EMBRABE join forces in this special concert. One of the organizers is Bert Finke, your host in bed & breakfast Golden Angel.
